Wolverhampton manager Gary O’Neill is confident his team can turn things around and win the game soon.

The Wolves have picked up just one point from their first seven games of the season and are bottom of the table, having conceded 21 goals, an average of three per game, the most in the league, but O’Neill is confident the team can turn things around soon.

“In terms of points, it’s a terrible result. If you look at the performance, I’m probably more critical of my team than anyone else,” O’Neill said ahead of Saturday’s game against Manchester City.

“We’ve been through seven games with one point. If you don’t look at it deeply, it looks like a disaster. There are two tough games coming up in the next 10 days.”

“But if you take your time and look at the situation and the schedule, you can easily see that there is enough to make it Promotion ufabet clear that we can turn things around.”

“I have 100 per cent faith in myself and the players to show everyone that we can compete at that level, with full confidence and real comfort. I can help this group in this moment and turn things around.”
